Friday lands award for Best use of Video in Digital Marketing

We are delighted to have picked up an award at the 2017 IIA Net Visionary Awards for Best use of Video in Digital Marketing.

The award went to the ‘Know your Rights’ video and campaign we created for the Data Protection Commissioner.

The Campaign

The campaign was launched to create awareness amongst individuals and businesses in Ireland around rights in relation to electronic marketing messages and the opt-in / opt-out system.

The campaign was a huge success, with our video reaching 350k watches in the first 4 weeks of it’s release.

A big thanks in particular go to Robin and Mary who put a lot of work into the production of the video. Watch below.

Friday is has been working closely with the Data Protection office on a number of new digital marketing campaigns, including the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which will come into force across Europe in May 2018.

The GDPR is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years and brings significant changes for B2C marketing.
